Lorenzo Dominique Berho Carranza
Chief Executive Officer

​

Lorenzo has served as Vesta’s Chief Executive Officer since August 1, 2018. He previously was Vesta’s Chief Operating Officer responsible for business performance including property acquisitions, investment valuation and analysis, capital raising and financial efforts, as well as projects including mergers and co-investments. He previously held the role of asset manager within the Company while also serving as Vice President of Mexico’s Urban Land Institute. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a master’s degree in Real Estate Sciences from the University of San Diego.

Juan Felipe Sottil Achutegui
Chief Financial Officer

Juan is Vesta’s Chief Financial Officer. He has extensive experience in capital markets and finance, accounting and treasury management, investor relations and human capital management. Juan studied industrial engineering at Universidad Anáhuac and holds an MBA from Harvard University.

Gonzalo Morales
LENS Partner

Gonzalo is a founding partner at LENS, where he leads the strategy consulting practice and advises clients across a variety of industries, such as energy, real estate, retail and health care.  Over the past decade, he has worked with Vesta in multiple strategy and financial planning projects, including the development of its Level 3 strategy. Gonzalo holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the UIA and an MBA from INSEAD.

Mario Humberto Chacón Gutiérrez
Chief Commercial Officer

As of 2024, Mario is the Chief Commercial Officer, leading the strong commercial Vesta team nationwide, to achieve the company’s leasing efforts. Previously, Mario was the Senior Vice President of New Business for the entire Northern Region, strengthening Vesta's presence within this market. Mario began his tenure in 2016 with Vesta as the Vice President of New Business at Vesta’s Industrial Real Estate Fund for the North-Central and Northeast Zone. He is also currently a member of the Ciudad Juárez Economic Development Council and a founding member of the Chihuahua Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and serves as the group’s Vice President of Industrial Developers.

Diego Berho Carranza
Chief Portfolio Officer

Diego is Vesta’s Portfolio Director responsible for Portfolio Administration and Development. He has also worked in different regions of Mexico as Project Manager with properties at different stages of development as Vesta’s as VP of Development. Diego has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Development from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), a certificate in Real Estate Project Finance and Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is a LEED Green Associate.

Juan Carlos Cueto Riestra
Vice President - Central Region

Juan Carlos has been Vesta’s Vice President of Mexico’s Central Region since March 2019. Prior to his current role, he was Vesta’s Vice President of Asset Management, since March 2015. Previously, Juan Carlos held roles in real estate, operations and consulting with Fibra Uno and for eight years with Wal-Mart de México y Centro America. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Anáhuac and an International MBA from IE Business School.

Laura Elena Ramírez Z. Barrón
ESG Director

Laura is Vesta’s ESG Director and is part of various related Committees at Vesta, driving the Company’s ESG program and position as a regional leader in sustainability and social investment. She has created and established sustainability and social investment strategies for the various global companies with which she has had a role, including Bimbo, also having established Sustainability and/or ESG functions.
 

Laura has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a master’s degree in Applied Public Management from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and has received various diplomas and completed related coursework at ITAM, FLACSO and Tecnológico de Monterrey. She has worked for more than 17 years in the private sector on issues related to human rights, gender, social investment, communication, public relations, governance and sustainability.

Maria Fernanda Bettinger Davó
Investor Relations Officer

Fernanda handles all aspects of Investor Relations and financial markets reporting at Vesta, also public information, debt and capital issuances, among others. Fernanda joined Vesta as an analyst in 2016, served as Interim IR Director during 2017 and was appointed Director of Investor Relations in 2020. She was previously an analyst with Discovery Americas from 2015 to 2016. Fernanda holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Public Accounting from the Universidad Anáhuac México.

Claudia Medina Frías
Corporate Communications Manager

​

Claudia has served as Vesta’s communications Manager for almost 10 years. She is responsible for having created the department within Vesta and manages internal and external communications as well as social media and all visual marketing materials. Claudia has had an extensive career in branding strategy and management with companies including Interbrand and Landor, two of the largest global branding consultancies, where she directed projects with P&G, Phillip Morris, BBVA, Petrobras, Unilever, as well as Guatemala’s national branding, among others. While at Interbrand, Claudia was Director of LatAm covering Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, the Caribbean and Central America. She was also responsible for innovation projects for Coca Cola, Kellogg’s and Unilever at Alexandria, an innovation boutique firm based in Brazil. She holds an MA in Strategy and International Relations from Lancaster University (UK) and completed PhD studies at the University of Cambridge (UK) in Social and Political Science with a focus on Gender Studies.
